We no longer have this, and a few other Hamilton model 243 pianos. They are very robust instruments and have proven the test of time to hold together better than almost any other console or studio piano from the 30’s onward. The tradeoff is that they don’t have the best tone. They also don’t have the worst tone, but you’ll notice the difference when you play it next to a larger Japanese upright. We haven’t detailed the case, but have done regulation and voicing to make this instrument very reasonable, and have priced it for a home that needs a dependable and fully-working piano.
